Aloysius Leeson

Aloysius Leeson plays flamenco, Spanish classical, Latin and jazz guitar, and much of that playing happens at weddings. The ceremony gets music chosen for each moment: the bride's entrance, the signing of the papers, and before and after the vows. For the reception there are several options. Aloysius can play solo, or bring in a percussionist, or flamenco dancers, whether that's Kristy Manuel alone or a full group, or play with Casablanca, a four-piece band with two guitars plus drums and bass. Casablanca's repertoire runs to bossa, Latin jazz, and both gypsy and Middle-Eastern swing. There's also Russian folk music with Volya. The guitars are concert-quality handmade Spanish instruments, amplified when the room needs it. Away from weddings, Aloysius plays conferences, private parties, birthdays and company functions. Based in Adelaide.
