Alan Banks

Solo guitar suits a wedding ceremony or a cocktail hour, and Alan Banks brings concert-hall experience to it. The Perth guitarist has played recitals across Europe, New Zealand and at home, and his first London concert was at St Martin in the Fields. His playing has a dramatic streak and draws on a wide mix of styles: bluegrass, jazz, Latin, flamenco and Spanish pieces, and classical. That range lets him shift the mood from a quiet ceremony into something livelier over drinks. He plays corporate dinners, private parties and special occasions as well as weddings.
