Alastair Hay Bagpipes

Alastair Hay plays unamplified, so there's nothing to set up. He arrives 30 to 45 minutes early to tune the Great Highland Bagpipes and go over the plan with you. The tunes follow the tone of the day. A march set such as Scotland the Brave into The Black Bear lifts a wedding, while slow airs like Amazing Grace fit a funeral or memorial service. For livelier occasions there are jigs, reels and hornpipes, and he recommends Happy Birthday on the pipes as the cake is cut.
