Zairyn is a singer based in Bunbury, WA.
Zai works solo, with one other musician or in front of her full band, which lets one voice cover a wedding ceremony and a dance-floor reception. It's a strong, soulful voice. She's a singer-songwriter and stage actor, born in the Philippines and now based in Bunbury, and she spent years singing on US-based luxury cruise lines, sailing to the Bahamas, the Cayman Islands, the Caribbean and Mexico. Her set runs from oldies to recent hits, with songs from Fleetwood Mac, Etta James, Carole King, Alanis Morissette, Ella Fitzgerald, Elvis, Karen Carpenter, Aretha Franklin and Sheryl Crow. Weddings, private functions and formal corporate events around the South West are her regular work. Her own PA handles a crowd of up to about 150 and needs one 10 amp circuit, plus shade for daytime outdoor shows. She carries insurance and a WWCC, and she'll travel to any state.
