Zac Weeks

Zac Weeks writes modern country with big, arena-sized hooks. His influences run from Kip Moore and Kenny Chesney to 80s rock band Poison, and his songs swing between hell-raising anthems and stripped-back ballads, drawing on small-town life and his own experience. His live show has grown out of country pubs into big regional festival slots. His singles include Left A Light On and Cowboy Hat, which reached the Top 10 of the AMRAP Regional Chart. Tasmanian country music is his cause, and these days he moves back and forth between his Tasmanian home and festival stages on the mainland. For a country night, a pub gig or a festival stage, he brings original songs with a proud regional voice.
