Yvette Young

Three 45-minute sets is Yvette Young's standard booking, and she can stretch to five if your night runs long. She sings and plays guitar, sometimes over professional backing tracks and sometimes without, and brings her own sound and lighting. Her covers run from Johnny Cash and Dolly Parton to Oasis, Missy Higgins, Queen, AC/DC, Tina Turner, Fleetwood Mac and Pink, with some originals too. Years on the job have taught her to judge when a room wants mood music and when it wants to dance. Local musicians and singers can join her for a duo or trio. All she needs is a covered area with reliable power. She's based in Darwin and travels nationwide.
