Yougzee

Yougzee is a DJ and producer who splits his time between Sydney and Newcastle, and his sets are built on groove. He blends deep house, classic funky house and minimal tech, with stripped-back sounds, strong percussion, funk basslines and a touch of disco in the rhythms. He's happy digging out deeper cuts for a small room, and just as happy building a packed club up track by track. Either way, he watches the floor and picks the rhythm for the moment rather than playing a set he planned at home. He produces his own electronic music too. He suits a late-night party or a venue that wants the dance floor full.
