Yamzie

One performer, built up layer by layer while you watch. Yamzie takes well-known songs, old and new, and assembles them live with a loop pedal: rhythm guitar first, then percussion, bass, lead guitar, vocals and vocal effects stacked on top until it sounds like a full band. Nothing is pre-recorded, so part of the fun for guests is seeing each track come together from nothing. It works best where guests are free to wander up and watch the loops stack, say at a bar gig, a function or a party in the backyard. All the gear comes along, and so does the transport, so there's nothing for you to organise beyond the booking. Yamzie works out of Brisbane.
