Yacht Rock Revival

Smooth is the whole idea. Yacht Rock Revival play the soft rock of the 70s and early 80s, the songs of Michael McDonald, Hall & Oates, Steely Dan and Toto, with tight harmonies, sax solos and grooving bass lines. They dress in vintage costume and keep a tongue-in-cheek sense of humour running between songs. You can choose five players or seven. It works for a themed night, a corporate function, a private party or a festival crowd that knows all the words. Past shows include Carnival Cruise Lines, Toowoomba's Carnival of Flowers, Federation Square in Melbourne, Hamilton Island Yacht Week, Airlie Beach and the Mornington Peninsula, plus the Stones Corner Festival in Queensland, where the crowd topped 10,000. They've also shared the stage with members of The Sweet and with the Earth, Wind & Fire Experience. Melbourne is home, and they'll travel anywhere in Australia.
