XUJA

XUJA is the project of Jordan Deck, a Melbourne DJ who played house music under his own name for more than ten years before changing direction. The XUJA sets reach across global electronic music, with traditional rhythms and textures from different cultures folded into the groove. A lot of that came out of Mahico, a world music and culture festival in the Northern Rivers that Jordan co-founded. Through it he has supported and toured international acts including Chancha Via Circuito, Maugli, Barrio Lindo, Rodrigo Gallardo, Kusht and Martha Van Straaten. It's a sound for a festival stage, a warm outdoor party or a crowd that likes to dance to something they haven't heard before.
