Wild Notes is a cover band based in Melbourne, VIC.
Wild Notes play dance music you know but rarely hear at a function, and they play a lot of it, at least 45 songs a night. The five-piece usually does three 50-minute sets with ten-minute breaks, agreed with the venue, and fills the gaps with music between sets. The list takes two songs each from a long run of artists, so Hall & Oates might sit near Skyhooks, Wang Chung, Sade, Pseudo Echo, Toto, Mondo Rock and Fat Larry's Band. For quieter venues they can bring the volume down. They supply their own PA and full lights, plus a spare mic for speeches and announcements, and fit into 3 to 4 metres wide by 2 to 3 deep on ordinary 240 volt power. The Melbourne band travels around Victoria.
