Snakes, lizards, turtles, frogs, possums and insects are among the animals a Wilbur's Wildlife presenter brings, usually eight to ten native species per visit, and the mix changes from show to show. Guests hear fun facts about each one, then get the chance to pat and hold them. At events, the animals sit in naturally landscaped enclosures so people can wander past at their own pace, while the presenter brings animals out for holds. That format suits a festival or community day. Schools, kindergartens, OSHC programs and aged care homes book the hands-on show. You'll need an indoor room or a shaded outdoor area, and they can bring a marquee. Based in Murray Bridge, they cover South Australia, carry public liability insurance, and every presenter holds police and Working With Children checks.
