What the Funk? is a cover band based in Brisbane, QLD.
What the Funk? take songs everybody already knows and put them through a funk filter, with plenty of other genres mixed in along the way. This Brisbane cover band runs hot from the first song, and their one job on the night is getting the room dancing. That makes them a better choice for the back half of an evening than for dinner, once the formalities are done and people are ready to get up. Familiar tunes with a fresh groove also help a mixed crowd, because nobody feels left out of a song they half recognise.
