Wadumbah

Didgeridoo, body paint and dance, all carrying Dreamtime stories. Wadumbah is a Noongar performance troupe led by didgeridoo player James T Webb, and the show is made to be watched. Dancers in traditional paint move fast over the drone of the didgeridoo, with the storytelling threaded through each piece. The group shapes its performance to the occasion, so it can open a ceremony, take a festival slot, play a street party or run as a children's show. They also present Welcome to Country. They've been doing this for more than 25 years, for schools, companies, agencies and festivals, and at international events as well.
