Volere Music is a musical soloist based in Meridan Plains, QLD.
Ask Volere for a song that isn't on the list, and there's a fair chance it'll be learned by ear during a break and played in the next set. Volere is Tim Scholl, and the name is the Italian word for 'will', a nod to his idol Bill Withers. He studied contemporary music at Southern Cross University, earning a bachelor's degree, and has put in 20 years of original and covers shows along the east coast. The mix is rock, jazz, R&B and pop, with plenty of songs you'd half forgotten: Powderfinger's My Happiness, Lior's This Old Love, Paul Kelly's Dumb Things, Tracy Chapman, Fastball, Xavier Rudd and Bob Evans. It works as easy Sunday-session music or as a reason to dance later on. He brings his own PA and lighting or uses the venue's, and travels up to 100 km from Meridan Plains.
