Vision Transition

Michael Zannis is totally blind, and his talks are about what losing his sight taught him. As a sports-mad kid from the suburbs, he dreamed of wearing the baggy green and captaining an Australian cricket team, and his story is about how grit and determination took him after that goal. His point to audiences is that losing your sight doesn't mean losing your vision. He brings wit to it and is happy to laugh at himself, which keeps a heavy subject easy to sit with. Topics include resilience, leadership, diversity and inclusion, and disability, and he speaks in schools as well as to corporate groups. Based in Adelaide, he travels nationwide.
