Two performers, five instruments between them. VelvetMuse pairs a strong lead vocalist with a multi-instrumentalist who switches between saxophone, flute, piano and guitar. It makes the duo's sound far fuller than the line-up suggests. The repertoire covers jazz, soul, funk and blues, plus pop, country and rock, so the music can sit quietly under cocktails and then lift for dancing once the room is ready.
