Velvet Sledgehammer are a high-energy classic rock band out of Laidley, Queensland, with a strong female voice at the front. The five or six experienced musicians work through rock favourites from the 70s, 80s and 90s, then throw in some harder-edged numbers from more recent years. Crank-it-up rock like this belongs at a pub night or a rowdy 50th, not under the dinner chatter. Every player is individually covered by public liability insurance, and the band will drive up to 200 km.
