Vanessa Heinitz has made music her full-time job since 2014, playing around Sydney and taking several cruise ship contracts, sailing from Australian ports and overseas. That's a lot of hours spent winning over rooms full of strangers. Pop, rock and country covers from across the decades make up most of her acoustic set, alongside originals which move from classic singer-songwriter territory to a pop-rock and indie rock edge. Her solo acoustic sets suit a restaurant, a bar or an easygoing gathering where live music adds to the atmosphere without being the whole show.
