Three 45-minute sets, or a full four-hour night: UpandAway can carry a party on their own. The northern beaches five-piece plays rock covers spanning 70 years, two guitars, bass, drums and vocals, and they spend the night getting the crowd involved. The Rolling Stones' Paint It Black and Satisfaction sit beside Get Back, Highway to Hell and You Really Got Me, with Bad Moon Rising and Sweet Caroline to bring everyone in. Every age group gets something to dance to, which suits a family party or a brewery afternoon. They can add session players on mandolin, lap steel, dobro or percussion, and supply a PA, mics, foldback and lighting. They travel up to 50 km from Manly.
