UnderCover is a cover band based in Toowoomba, QLD.
UnderCover turn up about an hour before your function to set up and sound check, and they bring every bit of their own gear and lighting. Gayle Dixon sings lead and backing vocals and Ian Dixon plays drums, both live, over professional backing tracks that fill out the rest of the band. Dinner gets soft background music, then the hits come out: ABBA, Fleetwood Mac, Shania Twain, Nutbush City Limits, YMCA, Stayin' Alive and a bit of Lady Gaga. Speeches can use their microphones. All they need is reliable power and a flat, covered spot. They're based in Toowoomba, travel up to 200 km, have public liability cover, and both hold Blue Cards.
