Under The Apple Tree can open with soft acoustic background music and build as the room warms up, or keep things laid back all night. The Melbourne act plays as a duo or trio for smaller functions and grows into a band of four to eight for bigger events, with strong harmonies and funky grooves. The songs range from The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac and Johnny Cash to Katy Perry, Bastille and Ellie Goulding, with plenty of home-grown favourites from Powderfinger, Baby Animals, Crowded House, Jimmy Barnes and John Farnham. They've toured overseas, and their credits include Moonee Valley and Flemington racecourses, the St Kilda Festival, Crown's Palladium, Federation Square, the Australian Open and the Formula 1 Grand Prix, plus gigs in London. Support slots have put them on bills with Jessica Mauboy, James Reyne and Daryl Braithwaite. Corporate functions, weddings and festivals are their regular bookings.
