Under Presha

Soft and classic rock, funk, R&B, Motown and a helping of Kiwi classics make up an Under Presha set. The Gold Coast covers act is built around seasoned New Zealand musicians: Huritau 'Hoodz' Simon on lead vocals and guitar, Luke 'the Jedi' Nepia on bass and Damian 'Damo' Chase on drums. Their influences run through rhythm and blues, reggae, disco, rock and funk, so the sound leans on groove. Expat New Zealanders in the room will spot the homegrown songs straight away, and the set works equally well for anyone after rock and soul they can move to without it getting too heavy.
