Ultimate Distraction is a cover band based in Adelaide, SA.
Over dinner, Ultimate Distraction can switch to jazz, which gives you a quieter first set before the rock starts. The Adelaide four-piece is fronted by a singer who also plays saxophone and keys, with lead guitar, bass and drums behind her and their own sound engineer at the desk. The main event is rock from the 70s to now, heavy on Australian bands: The Angels' Take a Long Line, Divinyls, Dragon's Rain and April Sun in Cuba, Baby Animals, INXS and AC/DC's High Voltage, plus Wolfmother's Joker and the Thief. From overseas come Led Zeppelin, Sweet and Bryan Adams, plus one-hit wonders like Play That Funky Music and Echo Beach. The sax gets a run on Johnny B. Goode and Who Can It Be Now. PA, lights and break music all come with them. Outdoors, they'll need a stage and a marquee. They travel up to 500 km.
