UB4T: Tribute to UB40 is a tribute band based in Brisbane, QLD.
UB4T play the 80s songs of UB40 with a six-piece line-up modelled on the original band. Red Red Wine and Kingston Town are there, of course, alongside Food for Thought, One in Ten, Rat in Mi Kitchen, Cherry Oh Baby and Many Rivers to Cross. The set also takes in Present Arms, Sardonicus, I Got You Babe and Wedding Day. The players bring experience from Australia and overseas. On stage it's saxophone, guitar, bass, drums, congas and bongos, with three vocal mics and five or six monitor speakers, so make sure the stage can take a full reggae band. It's a set for a crowd that will know Red Red Wine by the second bar. Brisbane-based, the band travels nationwide.
