UB40 Tribute Band is a tribute band based in Adelaide, SA.
Red Red Wine, Kingston Town, Food for Thought and Rat in Mi Kitchen are the heart of this Adelaide show, which sticks to UB40's 80s material. Like the original band, it's a six-piece. The players are experienced Adelaide musicians with national and international work behind them, and the line-up is a real mix, with members from England, Malaysia, New Zealand and the Philippines, some with Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander or South Sea roots, and others born and raised in Adelaide. Expect that easy reggae groove across Wedding Day, Johnny Too Bad, One in Ten, I Got You Babe, Present Arms and Cherry Oh Baby. It's sized for medium venues and corporate functions, and it suits a crowd that wants a relaxed dance.
