Tyler Shilling

Need a drummer who can also sing? Tyler Shilling does both, which makes him a handy call when a covers band is a player short. He's a Brisbane musician with 15 years in originals and covers bands around South East Queensland, and he studied music and performance at the Queensland Conservatorium and the Jazz Music Institute. His styles run from jazz and soul to rock and punk. Beyond fill-in drums and vocals, he takes drum sessions, solo or duo acoustic covers gigs and DJ bookings. On the originals side, he drums and sings in the post-punk act My Friend Chloe and in Sixth Of The Sun, a neo-soul collective.
