Tunes by Shanksy is Francis Shanks on acoustic guitar, playing solo. He's a familiar name to audiences across Mackay, the Whitsundays and the Coalfields, and the show is built on acoustic melodies rather than big volume. It sits nicely at a pub afternoon, a backyard party or a function where people want live music they can still talk over. As a guitarist who performs on his own, he's easy to fit into a smaller space too, and he works out of Mackay.
