Tribecca is a musical trio based in Adelaide, SA.
A cajon keeps the beat for Tribecca, an Adelaide acoustic trio with male and female lead vocals and plenty of harmony. Their songs cover four decades, and they adjust the style to suit a wedding, a pub gig or a corporate event. Bec Francis leads from the front on vocals and percussion, and her aim is to have everyone feeling welcome and singing along. She's been performing for over 20 years, fronting bands at home in Adelaide, in Sydney and overseas. Scott Doherty sings and plays acoustic guitar. Troy McNamara swaps his drum kit for the cajon and adds the low end to the harmonies. Scott and Troy go back a long way as musicians, and you can hear it in how tight the groove is.
