Trepan

Trepan play alt rock with some weight to it. The Sydney band's set moves between heavy rock songs, ballads and anthems, so there's room to pull back between the loud stretches. They're also recording original songs for a first EP, which tells you this is a band that writes as well as plays covers. Put them on at a pub gig, a band night or any party happy to hear amplifiers doing real work.
