Toonworld runs cartooning and animation workshops and birthday parties for kids around Sydney, and the real aim is confidence. The drawing activities change with each age group, pitched to stretch the children's skill and concentration. There's a game to it as well. In the Toonworld battle, erasers are the enemy, because there are no mistakes. Each child takes home a 48-page activity book full of cartooning challenges, the birthday child gets a birthday pack, and PDF invitations come by email when you book. The host, an artist and entertainer with plenty of experience teaching kids, draws simple caricatures of the children and brings all the materials.
