Tom Ballard

A comedy festival award, an ARIA and a long list of TV credits sit behind Tom Ballard's stand-up. Best Newcomer at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival went to his first solo show in 2009. After that, he and Alex Dyson hosted breakfast on triple j, and the work the two of them made together won the 2013 ARIA for Best Comedy Release. On screen he's been part of The Project and Spicks and Specks, hosted Reality Check, and fronted SBS's Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras coverage. He's a comedian and a broadcaster, so he suits a comedy night, or a work event with room in the program for a stand-up set.
