TobyTea is a singer based in Brisbane, QLD.
TobyTea is a trained jazz vocalist with a comic streak, and the show is as much about talking to the room as singing to it. Expect audience banter, expressive music and, if the sound gear misbehaves, a dad joke or two to cover the gap. The act comes as a jazz duo or trio, and band bookings run as three one-hour sets. One set list is themed around food and drink, with Days of Wine and Roses, Tea for Two, That's Amore, C'est Si Bon, Cocktails for Two, Gravy Waltz and Pure Imagination. That makes it an easy match for a long dinner or a wine event. TobyTea also hosts and emcees, works from Brisbane and will travel 100 km.
