Toby Thompson

Toby Thompson sings and backs himself, and he doesn't stop at one instrument. Saxophone and flute are both part of the act, which gives a solo show more colour than a voice and guitar alone. The material is rock, pop and country rock, with a strong lean towards Aussie classics and pub rock favourites, the songs a room tends to know by the second line. It's a sound that sits comfortably at the pub, in a club room or out in the backyard where people want familiar tunes and a bit of a sing. Toby works out of Brisbane.
