TOALLY STONEZ-The Rolling Stones Show is a tribute band based in Melbourne, VIC.
Two hours of Rolling Stones songs, split into two parts, played loud and with a grin: that's the Totally Stonez show. Out front is Mick Taggar, the band's cheeky stand-in for Jagger, who keeps the audience involved and the mood light. It's a seven-piece, with keys, two guitars, bass and drums behind the lead singer, and Lizzy Mac on backing vocals, taking the big female part in Gimme Shelter. Expect Brown Sugar, Paint It Black, Satisfaction, Angie, Honky Tonk Women, Wild Horses, Jumpin' Jack Flash, Under My Thumb, Miss You, Ruby Tuesday and Get Off of My Cloud, among plenty more. The musicians are experienced Melbourne players who take the playing seriously and the rest less so. For an outdoor booking, the stage needs to be under cover. They travel up to 300 km.
