Timlin's Green

Irish tunes with a rock backbone is the idea behind Timlin's Green, a six-piece from Adelaide. The band plays both traditional Irish music and rock, and blends the two, so a set can swing from a lively Irish beat to full rock energy and back. Six players on stage give them plenty of sound for a pub or a hall. The mix makes most sense on St Patrick's Day, or with a crowd happy to go from straight rock one minute to something with an Irish lilt the next.
