Tim Gaze is a guitarist based in Brisbane, QLD.
Blues guitar is Tim Gaze's home ground, played electric or acoustic, with his own vocals over the top. A solo night might take in Little Wing, Purple Haze and Hey Joe, then Dust My Broom, Pride and Joy, Little Red Rooster and Baby Please Don't Go. He's been playing since the mid 60s, first professionally with Tamam Shud, and has since recorded or played live with Jimmy Barnes, Rose Tattoo, Renée Geyer, Russell Morris, Brian Cadd, Stevie Wright and Jon Lord. He plays up to two one-hour sets and works through the venue's own sound system, foldback included. It's music for a bar, a club or a room full of people who love the blues. Brisbane-based, he travels nationwide, holds public liability cover and is Blue Card compliant.
