Tim and Maggie is a musical duo based in Brisbane, QLD.
Tim and Maggie build a formal evening in two halves: elegant instrumental music over dinner, then dance songs once the plates are cleared. The duo plays classic hits of the 20th century, mostly 60s and 70s with some 80s, by the likes of Roy Orbison, Fleetwood Mac, Creedence, ABBA, Daddy Cool, Queen and the Bee Gees. Harmony vocals, mandolin and acoustic, electric and bass guitars are all played live over studio-quality backing tracks. Dinner dances, milestone birthdays, themed nights and resorts are their usual work, and a compact PA handles very small gatherings. They need an indoor space fully out of the weather, flat access for their trolleys, and a meal. They hold public liability insurance and cover up to 200 km around Brisbane.
