Thomas Hugh

Thomas Hugh's songs pick up on what others miss: long drives on his own, desert country, the relationships people wish they had. It's folk and indie songwriting, played solo or in a duo, and it belongs in a listening room or a small gathering more than on a dance floor. He learned the trade over 15 years in Austin, Texas, playing rooms like Antone's, the Cactus Cafe, Steamboat and the Saxon Pub. After a tour that ran from Texas to the West Coast he moved to Los Angeles, where he became a regular on the Hollywood songwriter circuit at Largo and the Kibitz Room at Canter's.
