The Worm Turns is a cover band.
From Meanjin, The Worm Turns make music built on melody, rhythm and lyrics about heartache and what makes people human. It's music to listen to as much as move to. Kate McCarthy sings and plays rhythm guitar, and she's a visual artist as well. Michelle Bowden plays lead guitar and cello, Ced Ingra is on bass and Cam Ricketts drums. The cello gives the band a colour you don't often hear in a four-piece. They suit a venue night or a gathering where people are there for the songs, not just background.
