The Windjammers

Funk and jazz funk are the whole diet for The Windjammers, a Sydney ensemble with a horn section up front and a tight rhythm section driving it. Think deep bass grooves, crisp percussion and horn lines that open up into solos, played by musicians who watch the room and adjust. It's music you can dance to that still rewards the people who stay by the stage and listen.
