The Urban Collective is a country band based in Geelong, VIC.
Friday nights in Belmont belong to The Urban Collective. The Geelong country band plays the Hall for Hire under the bridge as the Bellarine Country Music Group's house band, so they know how to keep a room of dancers happy for a whole evening. Lisa Jones, Adam Giles, Roger Millward, Tony Valenti and Joseph Calderazzo make up the regular line-up, and guest vocalists often join them. In April 2023 they put out their first single, a new take on Kris Kristofferson's Help Me Make It Through the Night, now on the streaming services. They play country and country rock, suit a party or a country dance, and travel nationwide.
