The Swingin Martinis

Crooner classics with slapstick thrown in: The Swingin Martinis are a Brisbane comedy double act modelled on the old song-and-dance partnerships, updated for a modern crowd. The songs are uptempo Sinatra, Dean Martin and Tom Jones territory, including Sway, Big Spender, Suspicious Minds, That's Amore, Puttin' on the Ritz, Delilah and Come Fly With Me. Guests get pulled into the act, so it works best where people are happy to play along, like a cocktail party or a company dinner. They've performed for Sir Richard Branson and for Queensland premiers. There's a second show, Blue Bros Swingin, which mixes comedy and swing with favourites from The Blues Brothers film. The pair travel Australia-wide.
