The StringRays is a cover band based in Melbourne, VIC.
Guitar riffs and layered harmonies are what The StringRays are about. The Melbourne band puts two lead guitarists and four lead singers in front of a solid rhythm section, playing classic rock from the 70s, 80s and later with their own touches on the arrangements. Tom Petty, Creedence and Midnight Oil sit in the set alongside the Eagles, R.E.M., America, the Kinks and the Traveling Wilburys. You can push the list towards pop, country or rock depending on your crowd. They'll plug into a venue's PA or bring a full rig sized for most rooms, so a pub gig, a club night or a private party within 100 km is easy to sort.
