The Stringbirds

Five seasoned players, everything unplugged, and not a drum kit in sight. The Stringbirds play unplugged versions of classic songs, so guests at a 50th birthday drinks, a house party or a day at a winery can still hear each other talk. The list takes in Rhiannon, Fast Car, To Her Door, Boys of Summer, Nothing Else Matters and Fall at Your Feet. The usual format is a pair of hour-long sets, or three sets of 40 minutes split by 15-minute breaks, with background music through their PA in between. Allow an hour to set up, and have power, five armless chairs and vehicle access ready, plus cover if it's outdoors. They can also come as a duo or trio. They're insured, they live in South Perth and they cover up to 100 km.
