The Sirens is a musical trio based in Perth, WA.
Accordion, ukulele and a double bass on wheels: The Sirens take their music to your guests rather than waiting on a stage. They're a roving trio of women from Perth, dressed in Victorian-style, mermaid-inspired costumes with a modern twist, and they mix choreographed pieces with plenty of spur-of-the-moment theatre as they move through a crowd. Rhoda Lopez acts, sings and plays, Nikki Dagostino is on accordion, and Beth Sheldon plays double bass, brings a circus background and designs the costumes. Their repertoire covers a wide range of styles. The characters can be pitched family-friendly or suit an adult-themed event, and the act can be shaped around your theme. It works for meet-and-greets, roving at festivals and weddings, or a floor show or cabaret spot at a corporate function.
