The Silverados

Slap bass, twangy lead guitar and four voices: The Silverados play rockabilly the way it sounded in the early 50s, with later influences from the US, the UK and Europe folded in. Frank Ratta plays lead guitar, Barry Callaghan rhythm guitar, Jacob Bain slap bass and Ryan Simm drums, and all four sing. They've been going since 2010. Adelaide crowds know them from The Gov and a string of local pubs and clubs, and they've played festivals in South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. With that slap bass driving the beat, they're made for a 50s-themed party where your guests want to jive.
