The Rectifiers

The Rectifiers start from old amps, old instruments and the warm tone they give. Everything they play is chosen because people want to dance to it, with jump blues, swing, and east and west coast blues at the heart of the list and material spanning the 50s to the present around them. That puts them squarely in the territory of a 50s themed night, a swing dance or a blues club, anywhere the floor fills with couples who like to jive. The sound is warm and old-school, the way the band intends it.
