The Puppet Circus

A regal puppet theatre in gold, red and purple is the centrepiece of The Puppet Circus. The main show runs 40 minutes, and the theatre arrives complete with its own PA, internal lighting and a bubble machine. For the very youngest audiences there's a separate show, Puppet Antics, designed for 2 to 5 year olds. Schools can ask for a 20-minute talk after the show, covering the kinds of puppetry performed around the world, the forms used in the show and how to start learning as a puppeteer. Puppetry workshops are on offer too. It works for a school, a vacation care program or a kids' party. Set-up takes 90 minutes, pack-down 60, and the theatre needs a power point. The troupe works from Melbourne across Victoria, is insured for public liability, and its puppeteers have Working With Children Checks in place.
