The Pragmatics

Four-part harmonies over a rock band that plays tight but keeps its rough edges. The Pragmatics call themselves a bar band, and they've been playing around Sydney since 2014, at pubs, weddings, theatres, beer festivals, a basketball arena, carparks, boats and back alleys. Their songs reach back sixty years and take in indie, country, soul, pop and plenty of rock. You can pick a few songs, shape whole sets from their list, or leave the choices to them. Choose the size too: a four-piece classic rock line-up, a five-piece with keys, or seven players with horns or strings. Tell them whether the venue has a PA or you'd like them to bring one, and they can also quote for a stage, lighting or a marquee. Public liability cover is in place, and 100 km from Sydney is their usual range.
